As they might in actual fact be viewed by others as groundbreaking visionaries and pioneers? With disruptive ideologies that might in actual fact save the Planet, with radical and extremist interventions sometimes required to save a junkie from heroine, however unpleasant it may be, you have to do the cold turkey period and phase to finally arrive at true and meaningful Nirvana, without the hallucinogenic drugs and achieve an equilibrium, plus utopia. Heavens forbid I must be on drugs, an ideal society, that can in actual fact wean itself off the carbon drug and find a euphoric balance, plus perfect state of being? Sadly Johnny Ball found out to his detriment, that its probably better to sit somewhere in the middle, impartial, informatively and objectively. Rather than dismissing climate change as “alarmist nonsense”. As it would seem via recent studies contrary, again sit in the middle, weigh up the pros and cons of both sides of the argument! One paper, by Seung-Ki Min and others, shows that rising concentrations of greenhouse gases in the atmosphere have caused an intensification of heavy rainfall. The other paper, by Pardeep Pall and others, shows that man-made global warming is very likely to have increased the probability of severe flooding in England and Wales, and could well have been behind the extreme events in 2000. Again this had been simulations of the weather, using idle time on computers via a network of volunteers. Although in nine out of 10 cases, man-made greenhouse gases increased the risk of flooding.
Whatever opinion you may possess or believe the constituents of China, Brazil, Pakistan and even here in the UK but more recently Queensland Australia may now have radical and extreme viewpoints based on their regrettable and sad experience. They most certainly never had the luxury of sitting in a cozy environment running simulations on what if? But will be asking why for? Like everybody else affected by these devastating tragedies that sweep away homes, lives and possessions they want answers, to resolve a collective and universal solution to the problem. They sadly and regrettably experienced the full force of mother nature with the havoc carnage and loss of life these catastrophic events quickly and quite ferociously bring. Washing away any lasting impact or scared impression man makes on the landscape, plus the habitat we swamp and Mother Nature swamps and takes back again.
Cyclical or man made dependency is really the overall primary objective of the debate! Are we carbon junkies? A fool only sees today and a wise man sees tomorrow and into the future, so surely, wisely and logically it would be prudent, cautious and conservative to attain an equilibrium before the theories behind the simulations are ultimately proved right via the practice of the Planet collectively synchronizing and swimming! As an observation more than a statistic, even a simulation or scientific evidence, volcanic eruptions and severe weather conditions, plus Middle Eastern crisis's have as far reaching and devastating impacts beyond landscapes and habitats but pockets, markets and deteriorating asset classes, in essence any investment type. ‘industries like real estate, insurance, and airlines are hugely impacted by climate change and weather events. Is your business emitting a lot of carbon? How are you dealing with your carbon emission risks? Some time in the future there will likely be a big price stamped on carbon but far and beyond the mere measure of "Money" perhaps your house, material possession and ultimately your life! What we do hasn't changed but the way we do needs to, sooner rather than later, before events prove the countless and endless theories right!!! "If your a seeker, sorting, pursuing, attaining even achieving a balance, you can never be held accountable even responsible for events that may or may not prevail or most certainly become more reoccurring or not, if continually sitting in the middle, weighing up all the pros and cons of both sides of the argument! Assuming your fortunate enough to have that luxury? Surely even the cynical or sceptic is alarmed, discouraged even consumed and hugely concerned with the disruptive impact of this carbon drug and the raw deals in which everybody is being dealt!!!
