Tides Of Change - Bridge Is An Intellectual Game.

There is a tide in the affairs of men, which taken at the flood, lead onto fortune. Omitted, all the voyage of their life is bound in shallows and miseries. On such a full sea are we now afloat. And we must take the current when it serves, or lose our ventures. ~ William Shakespeare.
We can either go with the tide moving along with the effect of outside forces or swim against the tide, by doing something that is in opposition to the general movement of things. Or continue pretty much doing what we are doing just now to tide us over, until something happens by it's own accord but of course the tide will not turn at all. As time and tide waits for no man, things will not wait nor change by not making a significant difference or creating meaningful change. The latter I believe will accomplish more results by turning the tide, to cause a reversal in the direction of events. This cause and effect will have an extremely positive effect on mankind and a reversal in public opinion. Cyclical? man made? That is the question but to do the same thing over and over again, is borderline insanity. "Doing the same thing over and over again but expecting different results is insanity." As Dear Old Uncle Albert Einstein used to say. Furthermore as our other Dear Old Uncle Buckminster Fuller also used to say "You never change things by fighting the existing reality. To change something, build a new model that makes the old model obsolete."
Could these prolific thinkers ever have predicted or imagined a World that builds and grows but hasn't really truly evolved. Well they did, as they pretty much predicted what Stephen Hawking's predicts today, we're all doomed and the end is nigh. Why do we think we've advanced any further as a race when we haven't attained or achieved an meaningful equilibrium and or balance with our ecology that feeds us, along with our environment that should protect us, if in turn we return the favour and gesture, by protecting and ultimately safeguarding it. Through practices of sustainability that offer longevity for the whole of and entirety of humanity. Why do we focus on conquering space and exploring other planets when we haven't truly or really explored the optimum of the possibilities and potential on our own circular habitat and ball of fun.
QU & ARK has an abundant and vast ocean of ideas, many of which like our dear planet haven't truly been explored but do in there simplest form stem from different cultures, periods and historical events, plus ideas, concept and visions ideologies and philosophies but I do hasten to add with a futurist twist. That may at that particular time, been before their time. Admittedly enhanced, tweaked and refined, plus extended or further elaborated on but never the less a culmination of ideas historically explored that were not refined to their optimum, sad but true. Many of which are simple solutions for our extremely complex problems. Hey but it wouldn't be the first time that someone has over engineered what is in essence and it's rawest form an extremely simple idea. Our global and extensive collaborations with academics, professionals, kindred spirits and like minded people substantiate a desire, want and need for necessary change and a vital difference. But as I continually say "Innovation invariably only impacts those that control a market, whilst me, you, us, we all benefit." Scott Northcott.
You can decide whether you wish to continue playing a game of poker in which a few players ultimately win, along with the house. But it's very rare that one should wander or stray into a Casino that has altruistic/allocentric values or principles. As the saying goes their in it to win it. Bearing in mind there your chips their playing with. But should they really be gambling with our ecology, environment and keeping any cards close to their chest? I believe not!
The smart money that is morally and ethically created but is influenced and stems from other values and principles other than profit and greed will create the necessary tides of change and vital difference but it will not and wont prevail from individuals or entities that have vested interests in an ideology and philosophy that has fundamentally failed.

P.S. The people that take the time to read my blog are intelligent and astute enough to decipher historical and current events themselves. But I also suspect anticipate future events too. A poignant and daunting quote via a recent re-watch of a movie The Day The Earth Stood Still "We humans apparently change on the precipice of disaster." But as the plot thickened and then unraveled via another re-watch of the movie Chain Reaction it reiterates and reconfirms my quotation "Innovation invariably only impacts those that control a market, whilst me, you, us, we all benefit." Through the public distaste or rather disgust, that people power does finally prevail. So if you are not happy or ecstatic or elated build some bridges and join a table were the players, play for sustainable fun and futures but have an apparent motive and visible agenda which consist of longevity for humanity beyond all other motives and vested interests.
